Orig­i­nal Date March 20th, 2005

So hey every­one. I guess I’m start­ing a blog. I’ve been think­ing about it for a while, mostly as a kind of per­sonal diary. I’m mostly going to share my expe­ri­ences as a pro­fes­sional musi­cian and record­ing stu­dio owner/producer. There seem to be too many inter­est­ing things going on at each show, and I feel like I for­get them too eas­ily. I plan on post­ing after most shows, and if I have enough spare time, I might type up some old sto­ries just for fun. Most of you should know me and the peo­ple I play with, but if you don’t, here’s the main cast of musi­cians I per­form with:

Jenny Hol­lub — Singer/songwriter. We’ve been play­ing as a duo for close to 5 years now. (http://www.jennyhollub.com) I recorded and pro­duced her 1st CD in 2001 and her 2nd CD, in progress since 2003 and due out any time. We’ve been say­ing that for about a year now.

Adam Don­moyer — Also singer/songwriter. (http:www.AdamDonmoyer.com) I usu­ally play Bass with Adam. We’ve been play­ing on and off for a few years now as well. I also pro­duced and recorded his CD, which also took about 2 years (what is it with these people?)

Alli­son Thrash — A blues singer/songwriter. She and I have been gig­ging for almost a year now. Straight orig­i­nal blues, which is prob­a­bly what I like play­ing most.

There are some other peo­ple I play with occa­sion­ally, and I’ll men­tion them as it comes up. So enjoy, and let me know if you guys like it.
