So this is a little corny, but it’s my birthday. Hooray for me. I’m a little nervous about turning 23, but you know, life goes on. I just played a very nice gig yesterday out in Lakeway at the Iguana Grill, which boasts the “Second best view of the Lake”. The first is obviously Oasis, but this place is pretty good too, and I think the food’s better. So here’s a picture of me just chillin’ at the show:

Doesn’t look too shabby, does it? Highlight of the gig for me was a joke Jason the drummer cracked. We were about to start Stormy Monday, and I was playing the intro. I all of a sudden noticed I was playing in the wrong key, so I stopped the song to restart it. Oops. Oh well, these things happen. So as I’m about to restart, Jason goes:
“Don’t worry, no one knows this song.”
I nearly fell over.

Of course you can do that. People can sell anything. Even Dr. Faustus sold his soul to the devil. I personally think he should’ve tried selling his soul on eBay; he probably would’ve ended up making more money and he probably would’ve kept living a little longer.
By the way, nice fake picture of a sunset on a lake.
Suprise! You just turned 32 not 23. Thought no one would notice? I did. Love Mom
